My name is Michael Whitehouse, and I have started with the WSI team in 2021. I am based in southwestern Ontario and grew up in rural Nova Scotia. Living and working in smaller communities has allowed me to manage a fantastic work life balance and enabled me to see the benefit of relationship management from a grass roots level.
When thinking about what I bring to our clients, through my many roles I have witnessed how good design is often overlooked, until you witness poor design. Through my career I have been involved in several industries, Automotive, Oil and gas, and Consulting. I maintained an active seat on several industry committees, both domestic and international (ASME, CSA, AGA), which has provided a significant insight into how industry works.
Being the father of a special needs child (Autism, Deaf), I have also realized the need to give back to the community and to find what I can do to help. I am currently volunteering to be on the board of a community sponsored facility and am supporting and participating in the Ride to conquer cancer.
In addition to my partnership with WSI, I am an avid cyclist, runner, and part time artist, with aspirations to write a few children’s books.
If I had to describe my focus as a Digital Marketing Consultant with WSI in a few words, I would say I my goal is to help small to mid – sized businesses increase their revenue by assisting them in making their digital presence impactful and profitable in this new economy.
Our office has expertise with Manufacturers and Technical services provided to the automotive as well as the oil and gas industries. I am proud of the customer relationships we’ve built over the 25 years and look to leverage those relationships into a mutually beneficial partnerships.
