Make Child Poverty History - serving as a catalyst to eradicate child poverty.
WSI is a proud supporter and founding partner of Make Child Poverty History (MCPH) , a global outreach program that mobilizes resources and brings together individuals and organizations in an effort to end child poverty. MCPH is not a charity, but rather a catalyst for change - a group of like-minded individuals who recognize that suffering children can be made a thing of the past if more people joined the campaign to make child poverty history.
WSI raises awareness and support for MCPH with several fundraising programs conducted throughout the year including:
- Annual charity golf tournaments organized by WSI head office
- Regional golf events organized by our franchisees
- Workplace raffles and draws to raise funds
- Donation matching programs
- Book sale donations
- Awareness booth at WSI’s global Excellence and Innovation Convention
Launched in 2004 as a corporate outreach program, Make Child Poverty History has since expanded to include partner organizations, international charities and individual champions. Collectively, each supporter acts as a catalyst in garnering greater support for the MCPH cause globally. Through several fundraising events and charitable activities, we are able to sponsor more children each year and support various international humanitarian programs.
